Here we have a fantastic list of exciting event party themes that you can consider for your event for 2024 and 2025.
The roaring 1920’s Gatsby theme will always be a fun filled event with lavish gold, sparkles, and feathers! The popular theme is a great one for gala dinners, award ceremonies and black tie events because of the huge array of options that you can have to really transform the space of an event. The Gatsby theme is a wonderful option because everyone always really enjoys the décor, outfits and guests always have something they can find in their wardrobe that’s a little bit 1920’s.
Gold, Black and sparkle we have a lot of décor that can be used for such a theme including sequin table cloths, sequin entrance ways, champagne towers, prosecco walls and more.
2. Masquerade ball
Another party theme idea that is a glamorous theme that our guests absolutely love.
Originated in Italy in the 20th century from the city of Venice the theme includes lots of masks and elaborated decorated colourful masks including full face masks or half face masks to hide the party go-ers face and dramatic outfits and ballgowns- perfect for the ladies and gents in black tux’s
Similar to that of the gastby this theme includes lots of feathers, gold and glitter.
Make a statemented entry way with a masked entrance with red carpet and a step and repeat board for photographs including corporate branding.
Masked themed centrepieces with feathers are a popular choice mixed with candelabras and feathers.

3. Hawaiian Luau
If you cannot get everyone over to Hawaii why not bring Hawaii to your event! We love these theme filled with tropical flowers, entrance ways and fun bright fruity centrepieces.
You can get very creative with this theme including lots of activations within the party to make it an experience such as a tiki bar with themed drinks, cocktail wall, ceiling installations filled with ribbons, and tropical flowers, colourful table cloths and place settings including cutlery, glasses and photo walls.
Why not give guests a floral garland on entrance and have lots of photo opportunities for guests to take those photographs for the evening.
Outfits are easy fun bright and colourful so everyone can get involved.
4. Under the Sea Theme
The ocean is a huge mystery with still so much of it under discovered, but what has been discovered can certainly be brought into an exciting party theme. Under the sea theme sparks lots of blue, balloons, bubbles, clear themed décor and more.
This can be achieved with lots of blue centrepieces, crystal, spherical ideas, blue table, cloths, clear chairs, dramatic entrance ways and even a mermaid for entertainment.

Through the use of dramatic green trees, carpeting the floors in green, dramatic corridor tunnels filled with green foliage trees and branches, lots of production through lighting can really enhance the space to make the room look specular. 6. Circus theme
Oh the fun circus theme! We love this- and so do guests attending the party! It is a fun bright red and white and lots of colours.
This party is a great one for introducing food stands like a donuts stand, candy floss, sweets stand, and more. Put these stations in the foyer or around the ballroom for fun interactive elements. Why not have your entrance decorated with a red carpet and large circus features and signs.
Red table cloths and black napkins can be used on the tables alongside fun and exciting themed centrepieces such as balloons, popcorns, cards and more.
Create ceiling and wall décor with bunting and props to really create an immersive experience for those in attendance. Actors in ring master costumes are also a popular one among our guests.
7. Future Space Theme
A space theme party is a huge theme that we love the idea of, go all out with lots of spheres and planet props, lots of black and silver are ideal theme colours which gives lots of options for the décor. Spherical or modern centrepieces, black table cloths, dramatic photo walls made of mirror disco balls. Neon also comes to mind when considering a futuristic party and neon can be added to entrance ways, centrepieces, staging and more. Why not have smoke cover the room for guests as they enter and speciality cocktails with dry ice to create a smoky atmosphere when guests entre the future space party. It is also great to consider those modern robots to greet guests and create further fun and uniqueness. We can of course source all of the above if taking a full transformation package with us.
8. Hollywood glam party theme
The Hollywood glam theme is a favourite with the ladies as they get to dress to the 9s in glamorous celebrity inspired outfits and gowns. Have an oscar inspired entrance with large props and red entrance draping and red carpets to greet the guests as they enter. Why not get a paparazzi mob to give guests an experience of being paparazzi on entrance it’s a trick that is always loved by guests in attendance. Lots can be used to dress the space including dramatic centrepieces, gold furniture and cutlery and lots of movie props and references that everyone always loves.
9. Arabian nights / Morroccan Party Theme
Moroccan and Arabian night themed party is an awesome option for those wanting something a bit different, bring the warmth to London with this option, through the use of a lot of dark rich colours, reds, blues, oranges, purples to really create that warm theme.
Lots of cushions and soft furnishings are a great option- if the venue can even be a purpose built marquee it can add another element to the space, or alternatively drape the entire room to transform the space into the Aladdin’s cave of dreams!
Obviously lots of candles, lanterns and incense would truly make the space a immersive experience, colourful rugs and shisha can be used to create interesting photo areas and interactive features within the party to get guests to have a great time. Add henna artists, snake charmers, and Moroccan dancers for the added fun and themed party effect.
Colourful table cloths, chair seat pads and centrepieces can be used to dressed the space and this works quite well for corporate gala, a birthday celebration or an anniversary.
10. British Party theme
This can be as British as you like! A fun theme which can include a lavish tea party with vintage China and various teas that guests can enjoy which would work for an afternoon or brunch event but make it a bit more of an evening party by adding some more booze and British union jack flags, lots of red London buses and phone boxes for photos.
Why not have red and blue table cloths for the most striking event tables mini big ben table centrepieces or even mix the centrepieces with all things British related such as a centrepiece with spice girls and the beetles to make them a talking point for the attendees.
11. Neon Glow Party Theme
A wonderfully bright and fun party theme we love to create for our guests.
On entrance everyone can be given a glow sticks. Centrepieces can easily be LED based colour changing items such as globes. Staging options can be colourful with up lighting and production bringing in lots of lighting to make the space exciting.
Why not have a not have illuminated furniture and a cool corridor with lots of lighting to bring in the party.
12. Superhero theme
This is a great option for birthday parties, bar and bat mitsvah and clients wanting something a but more on the fun side.
The comic superhero theme is a great option through he use of lots of colours superhero props such as large ‘ wham’ and ‘bamb’ words that can be placed around, a custom printed dancefloor in the middle of the room and lots of fun lighting.
We can create custom centrepieces with different nods to superheros of your choosing. Guests can dress up in their favourite superhero’s which there are a lot of – and you can have the best dressed competition to add an element of competition among your guests.

13. Wild Wild West
Lots of props for the wild wild west theme is the way to go for something as dramatic such as this- lots of hay bales and grog in cups. Why not have a wanted western backdrop for photographs and cactus’s over the space. If you really want to transform the space add in lots of booths with carts, county jail room and wooden seating and tables.. A great choice for a Christmas event, dinner, party and more. To add more interactive fun why not add western games like fair ground games which can be doubled up for this theme. Guests can arrive with their favourite western outfit and cowboy hat!
14. Alice in Wonderland / Mad Hatter Party theme
A Mind boggling event theme that you have to love from childhood- and for those in the events industry this is a fun theme that we love to go to town with, such as carpeting the floor, installing lots of large props like mushrooms, large trees, foliage floral centrepieces lots of green foliage living walls and more. You can play around with guest relations by having a greeter dressed in the queen of hearts and of course lots of Queen of hearts cards around the room and photo opportunity areas.
Have your guests play with large croquet sets and other garden items. This can be complimented with beautiful tea party sets for the dinner or lunch and then lots of rabbets around the room, it is a spectacular idea that we adore.
15. Mardi Gras Party Theme
In the style of carnival and party we love a good carnival party – lots of bright colours, streamers, and beautiful people dressed up ready for a carnival. You can pull in variety of carnival themes from all over the world including beads from Rio. It is very easy to decorate for the mardi gras theme and we can add lots of centrepieces with lots of florals and colourful. Feathers, led lights tall and colourful centrepieces alongside colourful table cloths! Chefs kiss.

16. 80s Retro Theme Event
Who doesn’t love the 80s, bright colours, pop, Madonna, Michael Jackson, large music boxes and neon lighting- it’s a fun one that we just love.
This is defo one for the large props for the photo area and lots of colourful centrepieces that we just adore.
Have centrepieces made of the popular items from the 80s like a rubix cubes on coloured table cloths or springs.
We can get creative with a custom retro dj booth with neon lighting as well as a neon dancefloor.
This theme is great for a summer party, annual gala and birthday parties.
17. Fairytale Party theme
This is most popular for weddings due to its whimsical and romantic nature but of course it can be adapted to fit corporate parties as well.
This can be as dramatic and lavish as you wish with large floral centrepieces, cascading from the ceiling. Beautiful floral installations including hanging wisteria, candelabras like from beauty and the beast. This is all about details, coloured glassware, charger plates, beautiful chairs like dior chairs, and lots of beautiful florals.

18. Casino Royal Theme party
This is one of our popular themes for events – as it involves one of the most popular fictional male characters James bond! And gambling – quite often hiring in a roulette table for guests to play during intervals. The decoration quite nicely often includes lots of glamorous lighted props, red and black colour schemes, lots of giant card props and of course a red carpet walkway. It can be a great to bring in a cocktail bar of martini’s and of course lots of backdrops for photographs and pictures as guests will be in their best dressed frocks. Centrepieces options and ideas include similar items to feathers, giant martini vases with custom arrangements such as cards and feathers.

19. Bollywood Theme Party
India has had a great impact on the world and they defo know how to party so it makes perfect sense to have an entire Bollywood themed party. Embracing culture is a great thing to have for an event.. and its even better to decorate it. Lots of colours bright and bold fabrics reds, purples, pinks and golds. Once again draping a room can really have a wonderful effect in transforming a space, alongside lighting and Bollywood dancers to get the guests up and dancing
20. Candyland Party Theme
I love sweets and this is an amazing party theme everyone loves colourful events and this is an epic design option that one can do to really transform a space. Carpeting the floor in green carpet and the introduction of lots of giant sweets, candy canes and more. A corridor can be covered in lots of candy styled props to align the entrance way.
Willy Wonka themed parties are a great choice at the moment with the new film coming out. This theme would work well for a summer party, a bar/bat mitzvah and galas. There are some links to the Alice in wonderland theme which can have a nice cross over.
Why not draft in the oompa Loompas to make the event extra authentic.
21. Jungle Theme Party
A slight variation from the enchanted garden the jungle theme would include more greenery, African animals such as elephant props, giraffe props. Centrepieces can be large tropical green trees or floral arrangements mixed with green table cloths and leopard print napkins.
It works quite well having hybrid themes mixing in neon to the jungle and disco balls.
Add a safari backdrop for photographs and you are good to go! A great theme party for a corporate gala, birthday party and charity event. With lots of green lighting!
22. Winter Wonderland Party theme
This is one we often do for Christmas parties and celebrations and weddings – so we certainly love this theme. Lots of options for a Christmas party or a winter wonderland party including snow covered trees, apres ski styling, lots of blue lighting for ambiance alongside lots of birch branches to align corridors, white maple trees to create a statement entrance, lots of white draping to cover boring walls and to really produce a transformative effect.
Custom bars with lots of illuminated lighting and fun cocktails. We have lots of beautiful stock for the winter wonder land theme and its ideal for those lovely Christmas parties that want transformative effect for their office, or party.
23. Disco theme / Studio 54
D-I-S-C-O – everyone loves a bit of 70s disco music another beautiful dramatic styled of party with lots of sparkles and mirror balls.
Guests can come in bell bottom trousers and afros and the décor can be very dramatic and beautiful will stunning shimmery walls, sparkly hanging chandeliers, colourful or sequin table cloths and centrepieces. This can include disco ball centrepieces. Adding discoball head girls to welcome guests and to get guests up and dancing. Which makes this theme ideal for weddings, birthday parties, galas and summer parties.
24. Greek God and Goddess Gala
This is a unique theme that does not get done enough- getting guests to come as their favourite Greek gods in towels is not only epic but quite a remarkable- Greek goddess dresses are elegant and ethereal which most guests would love to attend. Décor wise – lots of roman columns and ivy filled candelabras with busts and candles and cascading fruit displays with lots of grapes and lounge areas. This theme works well for weddings and birthday parties where guests feel a bit more comfortable!
Prop wise- large Greek god statues would be a perfect entrance and backdrop for guests to see.
25. Summer Festival Theme
The great big summer party, perfect for the office parties that want to have a celebration in the summer to mark a good year. Summer parties involve lots of bunting, colourful flowers, pastels, pinks oranges and greens, in a relaxed setting. Lots of summer props a beautiful summer bar with lots of colour flowers. Picnic benches and tepees and more.
26. Diamonds are Forever Theme Party
Another theme for those that like dressing up and the décor can be reflective of that, disco balls, crystal, clear large florals and centrepieces. Women and the men can wear luxury silver gowns with jackets. Decorate the room with large fringing panels, sofas and lounge areas with crystal décor.
Creating a welcome corridor with sequin walls and uplighting to create a dramatic entrance way for guests to enter, we cannot forget the use of a custom backdrop or even a disco backdrop for photographs.

27. Cyber punk theme
What is a cyberpunk theme? Well this a subgenre of science fiction in a dystopian futuristic setting that tends to focus on a “combination of lowlife and high tech”, featuring futuristic technological and scientific achievements, such as artificial intelligence and cyberware – so what does that mean in a party form? Well, it means bright neon colours, entertainment with neon outfits and funky colours.
Table décor that is similar including bold bright centrepieces, disco ball elements and of course colourful flowers.
This theme lends itself to a lot of hired custom dressed waiters, greaters and drinks people. Give them blonde wigs, metallic leotards and large glasses and you’ve got yourself a wicked entrance. We can work alongside the talent to make the event amazing.
28. Autumn Gala Event
Autumn is a great time for an event and why not mark the event with decorative autumnal trees and centrepieces based on a gorgeous colour scheme of reds, oranges, greens and browns. This design works quite well for weddings, corporate galas, summer parties and more.
