Stowe House Wedding- Blossom and Blush Pink

Stowe House Wedding

Recently we provided décor for a couple on their big day! The wedding was located in Buckingham at Stowe House. This venue is absolutely stunning and has over 300 years of history packed within the establishment. The building has a very vintage and artistic feel to it as there are works of art that decorate the walls and ceilings throughout.

The Ceremony

The Ceremony took place in what is called the ‘Marble Saloon’. The colours that featured in this particular room are cream, ivory and gold however the main point of focus in the room that receives the most attention, are the marble pillars that surround the room which are a mixture of pink tones and the incredible ceiling by which natural light can flood into the room.

Decor Items

  • Flowers, both silk and fresh
  • Centrepieces and hurricane vases
  • Aisle runner and floral runner
  • Table linens
  • Gold mirror frame used for table plan and
  • Gold Charger plates and cutlery
  • Chair covers
  • Uplights

We also provided additional extras such as the cake knife, tea-light holders and LED tea-lights as the venue had a strict no flame rule.

Our in house design team also made this gorgeous floral chair garland for the bride and groom chairs.

Decorating the venue was very hands-on as we travelled between rooms. We had the task of decorating the initial entrance into the event rooms, transforming the ‘Marble Saloon’ which acted as the ceremony room into what became then became the dancing room later on in the evening, we also decorated the drinks reception room, the wedding breakfast room and the children’s’ room.

One of my favourite décor features that we put together for this event was the cake table. For the cake table we had sandwiched flowers between the table surface and then covered it with a glass top by which the cake then sat on top of.

The Styling Video

One of my favourite décor features that we put together for this event was the cake table. For the cake table we created a custom floral base with blush and ivory silk blooms and then had the cake suspended over the table.

With all of our décor and the already existing character of the building, everything truly came together to create such a romantic and stunning wedding for the couple. The evening was completed with a wonderful display of fireworks and champagne!

Once again we’d like to congratulate the couple and wish them all the best.
